"Storage limit exceeded" when attaching a file

Your account is at or over its storage limit, or this file would take it over. Notama refuses the upload rather than accepting it and going over.

Delete attachments you no longer need — remember that a note in the trash still counts until the trash is emptied — or move to a larger plan. Your existing files are untouched either way. See Plans and billing.

I cannot sign in on a new device

The Free plan allows two signed-in devices. The sign-in screen shows your current devices and lets you revoke one without needing the old device. See Sync and devices.

I was signed out of everything at once

Two things do that on purpose:

  • Changing your password, which ends every other session.
  • A sign-in token being reused after it was already replaced. That is what a stolen token looks like, so Notama ends every session rather than guess. If this happens and you did not expect it, change your password.

Sharing was turned off for that note, or the note was deleted. Links stop working the moment sharing is turned off, and there is no grace period.

Ask Notama says it cannot find the answer

It only reads your notes. If the answer is not in them it says so instead of making one up — that is working as intended, not a failure.

If you expected a note to be found, check it is not in the trash. Trashed notes are excluded.

An Agent run is waiting and will not continue

Agent stops before every change and waits for approval. Look for the pending step in the panel and approve or reject it. Nothing is written until you do.

If a run was interrupted — a restart, a lost connection — reopening it replays its timeline. An action interrupted mid-flight is reported as failed rather than retried, so it cannot happen twice without you seeing it.

Notes are not syncing

The apps need a connection. Changes made offline are held on that device and sent when it reconnects, so wait for the connection to come back before assuming anything was lost.

If one device is stuck, sign out and back in on that device only.
